Wanna dance with us in arts spaces?
Dance Well Class, an artistic experience that came from Italy and spread to other cities, finally gets started in Hong Kong now. Our classes are open to all: people living with or without Parkinson’s disease of all ages, along with their families, loved ones and carers. You can explore your body and soul in a creative way with our dance teachers, in artistic spaces like galleries, museums and performance venues.
“
Not only have I made more friends in the Parkinson’s community, but I have also met non-patient participants of different ages, which has expanded my interpersonal relationships and social circle. I gained so much here.”

“
My father and I have both benefited a lot. I used to think that only those with Parkinson's could feel the uniqueness of this journey, but now I think caregivers can benefit even more because we can feel the efforts of people with Parkinson's and the happiness they’ve got from it. At the same time, we can also release ourselves and have a relaxing time.”

“
People with Parkinson's lack dopamine in their brains and are more prone to depression. After joining Dance Well, I became more relaxed, happier, and youthful. It's really helpful for our disease. It's indeed a kind of therapy, an invisible one.”
