July 2026

Wandering through the different exhibition galleries, each moment sparked fresh inspirations within our physical senses. Drawing from the straight lines of Cantonese opera’s bamboo scaffoldings and the elegant curves of operatic gestures, we blended everyday movements with the expressive spirit of the Sheng and Dan, exploring the dynamic tension of our bodies between the active and the passive. Moving on to the Children's Discovery Gallery, we reclaimed our childhood innocence as we transformed into toys—switching between the rusty, rigid punches of a robot and the soft, fluid extensions of a Barbie doll, while reshaping our bodies through rhythmic challenges.

As familiar Canto-pop tunes filled the air, we instantly amplified the sensory notes of sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy through our entire bodies, dancing with confidence in a nostalgic, retro party atmosphere. Finally, we encountered Mona Lisa and other classic masterpieces. Moving with the flow of the brushstrokes, we used our bodies as paintbrushes, breathing vibrant new life into these timeless portraits amidst the shifting pace and weight of our movements, suspended between the abstract and the real.
