Dance Well Classes information
  • All our Dance Well classes welcome people with or without Parkinson's disease of all ages. No prior dance experience or knowledge is required.
  • Free of charge. Limited quotas are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Participants are expected to attend all registered classes. Absence for 2 classes of a module will be considered as discontinuing the module. Quota will be released to people on waiting list.
  • A Certificate of Attendance will be issued by Dance Well to participants who have successfully attended all classes of a module.
  • We will conduct a two-year research study simultaneously. By collecting participants' data before and after the Dance Well classes mainly through physical fitness tests and questionnaires, the research aims to examine the effects of dance among Parkinson’s disease patients on their physical, psychological and social health. The subject of this research study is people with Parkinson's, and the identities of the participants will be kept anonymous and confidential. Participation in the research is voluntary and participants can terminate their participation at any time. The information collected in this research will be used for academic purposes only, and the identities of the participants will not be disclosed in the research articles. Upon completion of the research study, participants will receive a brief report and a HK$500 supermarket voucher. Please click here to learn more about the research study.
