Unless otherwise specified, registrations will be accepted up to five working days before the commencement of each course of classes. However, it is advisable to register well in advance as places are limited. Applications will be handled on a first-come first-served basis unless otherwise specified.
When enrolling for the course, applicants should provide accurate names (as shown on your HKID card), contact telephone numbers and email addresses, so that the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts ("the Academy") can contact you in case of class change as and when necessary.
The Academy reserves the right to accept or reject any registration.
The Academy reserves the right to cancel any class whether it has started or not; and to alter the class content, teaching artist, date and/or time, venue and number of sessions to accommodate unforeseen circumstances. The Academy will endeavour to inform all participants who have submitted contact details at enrolment should necessary changes occur. If in doubt, participants are encouraged to enquire on 5990 2223.
In view of the possible transportation disruption or other special circumstances due to the unpredictable nature of the situation in various districts, classes may be affected. In general, all Dance Well classes will continue as usual as far as possible, and until further notice. When classes are conducted as usual, no make-up class will be arranged for participants who decide to be absent.
In cases of unexpected circumstances, including force majeure cancellation of classes, the Academy will inform the affected participants by urgent messages via WhatsApp and email. The Academy will make every effort to arrange for a make-up class. However, if the situation does not permit us to re-schedule a class, or if participants cannot attend the make-up class, no additional lessons will be arranged. Thank you for your understanding.
Class participants may assume that their registration has been accepted when they receive a confirmation email, and should attend the class as scheduled on the Dance Well website unless otherwise notified. A reminder to attend class will be sent via email to participants who have submitted their email addresses.
Only the registered participant is allowed to attend class sessions. A participant cannot find a replacement to attend a session that the participant cannot attend. Unless specified or with the permission from the Academy, participants should not invite their relatives or friends to observe the class.
A Certificate of Attendance will be issued by Dance Well to participants who have successfully attended all classes of a module.
